greetings from the abyss.

i suppose miserable weather is the reason for my purposeless post on my sad little blog. i'm 6 days in at my new job, things are getting easier by the day and my fingers are perpetually crossed in hopes of no downward spirals in my immediate future. but with stress alleviated in one aspect of my life, of course it's only natural that a different stress zones should make themselves known. 

i do enjoy that my fortune cookie today said, "you will always be surrounded by true friends". that put me at ease for the first time in a few days and it felt magnificent, even if it was only for a moment. recently some truly wonderful people have advanced into the forefront of my life and i feel blessed to have the variety of characters surrounding me.

2010 is off to a rocky start, but there have definitely been some highlights. i'm hopeful for more.
